Opportunities for Involvement
Youth Representatives
We value the perspective, energy, and leadership style of young people. We look for opportunities to support youth through community involvement, project leadership, and by joining our action and steering teams.
Treatment & Recovery Team
The Treatment & Recovery Team meets monthly to network and identify opportunities for collaboration between treatment providers, substance use organizations, and the recovery community.
Prevention Team
The Prevention Team is the heartbeat of our work related to the Drug-Free Communities (DFC) grant. This group focuses on youth engagement, providing education, and building awareness throughout the community. The Prevention Team meets monthly.
Steering Team
The Steering Team provides leadership for the coalition, and its members are voted into their positions for alternating 2-year terms or service. The Steering Team meets monthly to keep up-to-date on Action Team activities, grant administration, project progress and evaluation of new initiatives to ensure they align with the mission and vision of the Coalition.
In-Kind Donation
Do you have a special skill or resource and interest in supporting the Coalition, but not the ability to attend monthly meetings? We are always appreciative of support in the following areas:
• Event Planning
• Graphic Design
• Event Volunteers (set-up/tear down/registration, etc.)
• Data Collection and Entry
• Marketing / Promotion
• Event / Meeting Space
